      The World Health Organization (WHO) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) do not recommend the use of gloves for intradermal or subcutaneous injections - unless the skin is visibly broken. In which case acupuncture would not be administered there.

      Without assessment its difficult to be definitive. however, in general Acupuncture and or electroc, you puncture have been showing to be helpful in the Rehabilitation of nerve injury. I would suspect it would be a good alternative to try before having surgery.

      Many research studies which you can access have concluded that “Many studies indicate that the practice of preparing skin with 70% isopropyl alcohol offers no advantage over no preparation. Hand washing and drying by the practitioner are important for best practices.” Gloves are more a danger to self needle point infliction and should be avoided.

    I would like to know your opinion on this: I personally have trapezius atrophy but only on the middle and lower parts, the front of my trapezius does actually contract but the rest doesn't. other than that, the sensory and the rest of the muscles in the area are fine. this has prevented me from stabilizing my shoulder properly and advancing in sports. it also caused scapular winging and internal rotation to the shoulder at rest. Also this entire issue is only present on one side the other is really strong. Any ideas?

    Thanks for the vid. Respectfully - Im with ya on the value of intraoral massage if the aim is to stimulate descending inhibition of pain, but "cleaning and clearing fascia"? If there is any evidence that fascia can (or should) be "selectively changed" in any way by using a finger without a) using a metric ton of pressure, b) causing immense pain, and c) causing disabling damage to skin/mucus membrane, muscles, blood vessels and nerves - I would be very interested in that evidence.

    • @electroacupuncturedoc
      @electroacupuncturedoc 7 месяцев назад

      there is a boatload of evidence to reflect fascial manipulation. Google fascial distortion release techniques. Also read the work of sergio paoletti. It is painful but the interval is short and the results are fruitful.

    • @electroacupuncturedoc
      @electroacupuncturedoc 7 месяцев назад

      The fascial release is the application of tension - there is no tissue breakage of anykind.
